Biography

Dean Gray has a true gift for delivering dynamic comedy routines to people of all ages. He has been actively using his talents of comedy since the early 1990’s where he performed stand up routines, worked on television commercials, and did radio voiceovers. Dean’s background in comedy and acting have given way to his current full time stand-up comedy tour, traveling around the country bringing good clean comedy to anyone and everyone he meets.

A few of the comedians who have inspired Dean’s comedy routines include; Chris Tucker, Redd Foxx (of Sanford & Son), Lavell Crawford, and Sinbad. His specialties include impersonations, characters (such as “Deanella”), and stand-up comedy. Dean’s very first public comedy performance was at a church talent competition in the Philadelphia area. He successfully freestyled a routine which ignited his passion for bringing laughter to audiences everywhere.

Dean firmly believes that laughter is medicine for the soul. His lifelong dream has been to use comedy to communicate the truths of the Gospel with his audiences. As Proverbs 17:22 says, “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” Performing all over the country, Dean seeks to use his God given talent to minister to his brothers and sisters by bringing joy and laughter to their hearts. A comedy routine so clean and family friendly that it won’t hurt even your children's ears.
